The Business Analyst manages and delivers the analysis and requirements gathering phase of a change initiative project that is targeted to design a target operating model on current and proposed business processes, their required governance and management to ensure improvements are realized in a robust and controlled environment. This includes analytical aspects outside the impacted area or team to ensure target design are aligned front to back. They are accountable for ensuring that the project remains on track and ensure all relevant stakeholders are consulted or informed on the designs, securing their agreement as required.
