The Opportunity
As Corporate Affairs Coordinator, you’ll be the connective thread across the team—ensuring priorities are aligned, information flows effectively, and work is delivered seamlessly.
This is a highly visible coordination role supporting key Corporate Affairs activities, including Senate Estimates, portfolio updates and media-related work. You’ll be trusted to anticipate needs, prepare stakeholders, and help the team operate efficiently.
Success in this role means the team can rely on you to keep things organised, connected and moving—often before being asked.
Key Responsibilities
As Corporate Affairs Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
Coordinate meetings, priorities and logistics across the Corporate Affairs team
Proactively support stakeholders to prepare for meetings and key activities
Track actions and follow up to ensure work progresses on time and nothing is missed
Produce regular updates and summaries to keep the team aligned on priorities
Support delivery of high-profile activities such as Senate Estimates, portfolio updates and media coordination
Prepare, format and quality-check briefings, presentations and communications
Maintain team systems, templates and records to support consistent ways of working
Manage team administration including travel, invoicing and general coordination activities
Take ownership of team coordination, identifying gaps and stepping in to keep work moving
About You
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and takes pride in helping others deliver their best work. You enjoy being at the centre of a team—keeping things connected, on track and running smoothly.
You’ll bring:
Experience in a coordination or team support role in a fast-paced environment.
An understanding of the rhythm and priorities of a Corporate Affairs function is advantageous so experience working within a similar function is preferred.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
A proactive mindset—you anticipate needs and take ownership of outcomes and take initiative to keep things moving
Sound judgement, professionalism and the ability to work with sensitive information
Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
Curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding the work you’re supporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
