Job Description

We are looking for a Corporate Administration & HR Coordinator who will provide Human Resources (HR) and administrative support to employees, the HR team, and corporate leadership. This position serves as a key point of contact for employees and supports day-to-day HR administration, employee engagement, volunteer activities, and general office and site needs.

This role offers a wide variety of work, people interaction, and opportunities to make a positive impact. It is a great fit for someone with strong administrative skills, sound judgment, positive energy, and an interest in growing HR knowledge and creating a positive employee experience.

This is an onsite position at our corporate office and packaging operations facility in Dearborn, MI.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide a welcoming, supportive, and customer-focused experience for employees, visitors and external contacts.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine HR questions and employee needs, escalating sensitive, complex, or confidential matters to the HR Manager or appropriate HR team member.
  • Maintain employee files, HR records, and other HRIS information.
  • Prepare and maintain HR documents, forms, reports, phone lists, handbooks, and other materials.
  • Create employee badges and assist with facility access.
  • Create and maintain local and companywide digital signage.
  • Organize and coordinate employee engagement activities and celebrations.
  • Coordinate company volunteer efforts, including facilitating the volunteer coordinator network, reporting progress toward volunteerism goals, and building meaningful partnerships with local organizations.
  • Coordinate food, supplies, setup, and other logistics for meetings and events.
  • Order and maintain supplies and corporate kitchen inventory.
  • Support employees and executives with travel, mailings, invoices, and other administrative needs.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

  • Plan and implement existing and fresh new ideas to engage employees and build a positive workplace culture.

  • Use Microsoft Office, HRIS systems such as Dayforce, digital signage tools, and basic reporting tools.
  • Learn and apply systems and tools efficiently to improve communication and administrative support.
  1. Organization & Confidentiality
  • Manage multiple priorities, follow through on details, and protect confidential employee information
  • Stay positive, dependable, solution-focused, and comfortable supporting a diverse employee population

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in HR, office administration, or a related field
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
  • Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, and support multiple administrative priorities
  • Ability to communicate professionally with employees, leaders, vendors, and external contacts, including those with limited English language proficiency
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • HRIS (e.g., Dayforce) experience is a plus
