Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Actuary & Portfolio Management professional to lead actuarial initiatives and provide critical business insights. This role will be responsible for delivering actuarial analyses, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust risk and financial management across the organization.

The successful candidate will lead a team, oversee actuarial processes, and contribute to risk-based capital modeling, while continuously improving systems, methodologies, and talent capability within the actuarial function

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • Qualified or nearly qualified actuary (FSAI of recognized actuarial body preferred).
  • Proven experience in actuarial work such as reserving, pricing, capital modeling, or risk management.
  • Strong analytical, statistical, and modeling skills.
  • Proficiency in actuarial tools/programming (e.g., Excel, R, Python, SAS, Prophet, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of risk-based capital frameworks and financial reporting standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and develop the actuarial team, ensuring timely delivery of both routine tasks and more complex analyses with appropriate oversight.
  • Perform actuarial analyses across reserving, financial reporting, pricing, and quantitative risk management.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance statistical models; analyze data and interpret results to provide actionable business insights.
  • Provide actuarial advice to stakeholders, including insights into business performance and financial implications.
  • Manage actuarial data flow and quality to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of outputs.
  • Support the development, calibration, and enhancement of risk-based capital (RBC) models.
  • Ensure compliance with internal actuarial policies and standards, while driving improvements in systems, processes, and methodologies
