Job Description

Finance is more than just numbers and balance sheets. It is a key partner to all other business areas, supporting them in planning, managing, and optimizing business processes. The department's main focus is on analyzing, evaluating, and presenting financial performance. A passion for finance and teamwork is at the forefront, offering excellent development opportunities.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

  • Leading projects related to changes in accounting policies and the accounting treatment of business transactions (including M&A, PPA, and deconsolidations)
  • Further developing and monitoring group consolidation policies, as well as analyzing new accounting standards
  • Preparing position papers on financial accounting issues (IFRS/HGB)
  • Supporting the preparation of the IFRS consolidated financial statements (in particular the notes), including presentations for governing bodies
  • Serving as a contact person for accounting issues, participating in projects, and preparing topics for board-level presentations

This is what you bring to us:

  • In-depth expertise in group accounting under IFRS, complemented by a solid understanding of related areas
  • Confident application of IFRS in practice, particularly in consolidated financial statements, notes, and management reports
  • Proven experience in international group structures and/or auditing, ideally in a global environment
  • Proficiency in common tools such as MS Office, SAP, and standard consolidation solutions (ideally SAP Financial Consolidation/BOFC)
  • Strong communication skills, including in interactions with management and international stakeholders
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to work across functional boundaries
  • Fluent (business-level) German and English skills for collaboration in an international environment
