Corporate Accounting and Global Finance Services Leader

Location: The actual location of this job is in Morristown, NJ.

The Finance Legal Entity responsible for US and Canada oversees the financial integrity and compliance of the CHI’s Platform’s US and Canadian legal entities, ensuring accurate reporting under the applicable GAAP standards. They support the financial close process, review financial statements, and maintain strong internal controls. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and takes accountability for filings with authorities. They coordinate closely with Group Tax, Legal, Treasury and audit teams. Other key stakeholders involve Regional Controlling and Global Business Service Teams. Acting as the primary finance owner of the legal entity, this person provides oversight on risk, governance and financial performance.

Compensation for this role will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledge.

What you will do:

  • Financial Reporting & Close Oversight:

In alignment with the Regional Business Controlling Teams and Shared Service Teams, ensure accurate and timely periodical close processes for the entities within scope.

Ensure compliance with applicable GAAP standards (Group & Local)

  • Regulatory & Statutory compliance:

Ensure compliance with US regulatory requirements (federal, state, local)

Act as the primary contact for group and local auditors for entities within scope

  • Tax Compliance (including Transfer Pricing) and Treasury Compliance

In close collaboration with the Group Tax Team, external providers and internal teams, ensure timely and high-quality preparation and submission of direct and indirect tax returns (federal and state)

In alignment with the Treasury Team, oversee liquidity, funding, dividends and capital movements for the legal entities in scope.

  • Internal Controls

As the overall coordinator for Internal Control System for the legal entities within scope, manage the ICS process to enhance the control quality. Meet all the ICS KPIs defined by Corporate Compliance.

Support Corporate Finance Teams to drive for process standardization, automation and streamline, including the SSC build-up. Support strategic Platform projects (where applicable).

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar discipline. Master’s degree preferred. CPA is a plus
  • Highly experienced in an international environment, preferably a global operating company
  • SAP experience or similar ERP working experience
  • Sound and transparent track record as the financial professional is the must
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and positively impact peers and colleagues
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Agile professional able to manage through changing priorities
