Job Description

A dynamic growing company in the BioTech industry is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join their corporate accounting group. This opportunity offers a professional work environment, career development, work life balance, and fantastic benefits.
Responsibilities of the Corporate Accountant include:
  • Posting, verifying, and reconciling general ledger accounts, reclassifications, pre-paid accounts, accounts payable and effectively managing daily cash balances
  • Assist with the accurate management of fixed Assets
  • Assist with compilation of data for preparation of financial statements, quarterly and annual tax reports, and regulatory reports
  • Coordinate and prepare for financial audits, as required
  • Prepare reports as needed and develop and implement procedures to streamline daily accounting activities
Job Requirements of the Corporate Accountant:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar
  • CPA desired, but not required
  • 2+ years of public experience or 4+ years of industry experience
  • Advanced Excel and computer skills are required
  • ERP system experience a big plus

We are working remotely now due to Covid and expect to be doing so for the foreseeable future. We hope to have some form of hybrid by Q3 (September/October).
