Job Description

The Corporate Account Executive is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies directly to Original Equipment (OE) Dealers on a regional basis. The Corporate Account Executive is accountable for delivering growth in sales volume, account share, and market share. This will entail outside sales to both existing and new customers. This will entail outside sales to both existing and new customers.

Key Outcomes

Manage sales territory, expandthe business, and develop new accounts within assigned territoryAchieve individual goals of increase of private label revenue and goals of adding new dealers to the business

Essential Duties & Responsibilities and Est. % of Time Spent on Each

  • CUSTOMER -You will develop lasting relationships with customers. Provide an excellent customer purchasing experience leading to dedicated and residual business partnerships.
  • PEOPLE- Have ateam-oriented attitude and approach with the GVW group and customer base. People are what drives our business.
  • PRODUCT - Sales:Develop and execute customer specific sales strategies withAutocarDealers and OE Dealers inthe assigned territory.
  • Market - Understand each customer’s market and communicate anycompetitor market developmentswith the leadership team.

  • Direct Sales Experience a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience preferably in commercial vehicle parts or commercial business to business
  • History of exceeding goals
  • Strong desire to win

  • Technology proficient
  • Can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, manage conflicting priorities and complete assignments under aggressive time constraints
  • Demonstrated productivity with minimal supervision. Must be results oriented and able to move forward without complete information

  • Trusted consultant with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong drive and will to succeed
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands; know when to demonstrate a sense of urgency
  • Amount of travel required 75%

Required Education, Certification, Training

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have or obtain the following education, certification or training:

  • Bachelor's degree or minimum 2 years of sales experience preferably in commercial vehicle parts or commercial business to business
