Job Description
Prepare the company’s federal and state and local compliance requirements for tax incentive portfolio in addition to updating and maintaining the database of all company incentives and credits. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
- Prepare federal, state and local annual and quarterly compliance requirements for tax incentive portfolio
- Prepare elements of actual vs. estimated tax incentive projections
- Assist with data gathering process, including coordinating with accounting department and division controllers to obtain critical data
- Gather and interpret information and assist with formulating conclusions to prepare compliance reporting
- Prepare and deliver presentations regarding credit and incentive performances to management, highlighting successes and areas of opportunities for secured incentives
- Accumulate and review payroll data for compliance reporting
- Perform research and analysis related to federal and state credit opportunities
- Respond to related tax correspondence and research issues as they arise
- Update and maintain database of all credits and incentives secured by the company
- Interact professionally and communicate clearly with company divisions, third party consultants and government personnel
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related field
- 2+ years corporate tax or related field
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication skills; ability to effectively and professionally interact with all levels of an organization, government agencies and third-party consultants
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to proactively initiate action and manage workload
- Outstanding organization skills
- Must be able to handle multiple projects at the same time and prioritize tasks to completion on time

- Previous experience with compliance tax credits and incentives within the public or private sector
