Cornea Specialist Ophthalmologist – Boston Area

We are working with a well-established, privately owned, multi-specialty ophthalmology group in the Boston area to appoint a Cornea Specialist Ophthalmologist.

The Practice

The group operates across several accessible locations within commuting distance of central Boston. It is supported by a team of experienced ophthalmologists and optometrists covering a range of subspecialties, including cornea, retina, glaucoma, dry eye, and comprehensive ophthalmology.

The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology and maintains established relationships with leading academic and hospital institutions in the region. Clinical workflows are well structured, allowing physicians to focus on patient care and surgical delivery.

The Role

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive ophthalmic care with a focus on cornea and anterior segment pathology. Responsibilities will include:

• Managing a broad range of corneal and external eye diseases
• Performing anterior segment surgical procedures, including cataract surgery
• Contributing to a high-volume, referral-driven clinical service
• Working collaboratively with optometrists and clinical support teams
• Providing post-operative care and ongoing management of patients
• Supporting the continued development and growth of the practice

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Ophthalmologist
• Fellowship training or equivalent experience in Cornea
• Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
• Strong surgical and clinical experience in anterior segment care
• Commitment to high standards of patient care and teamwork
