As a Core Ops Equity Trade Lead Analyst, you'll play a critical leadership role on a global team supporting Capital Group's equity trading operations across global markets. You will lead daily production, provide coaching and technical guidance, and serve as a trusted subject matter expert for complex trade processing, settlement, data analysis, controls, and operational risk matters. You'll combine trade-lifecycle expertise with a data-driven, risk-aware, and continuous-improvement mindset to strengthen the team's operating model and support scalable business growth.
· Lead day-to-day production and oversight for global equity trade operations, including trade capture and enrichment, confirmation, settlement, reconciliation, exception management, and resolution of complex trade, cash, and position discrepancies.
· Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex trade processing, settlement, market, counterparty, custodian, and operational risk matters.
· Coordinate priorities and workflows across the team, provide coaching and technical guidance, and reinforce consistent execution of procedures and controls.
· Partner with Trading, Legal, Investment Operations, brokers, custodians, counterparties, and external service providers to support timely trade completion and resolve issues across the trade lifecycle.
· Use operational data to identify trends, emerging risks, recurring exceptions, capacity constraints, and opportunities to improve service delivery and decision-making.
· Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, key performance indicators, and risk metrics using advanced Excel, Power BI, or comparable business intelligence tools.
· Lead process improvement and automation initiatives that strengthen controls, standardize workflows, reduce manual touchpoints, and improve scalability and operational resiliency.
· Document procedures, control points, escalation paths, and process changes; support testing, implementation, and operational readiness for system or business enhancements.
· Demonstrate end-to-end ownership by driving issues to resolution, communicating clearly with stakeholders, and escalating material risks appropriately.
· Act as a key liaison between Equity Trade Operations and internal and external stakeholders, advocating for the team's priorities, contributing operational expertise to enterprise initiatives, and driving alignment across workstreams.

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Significant experience in investment operations, trade operations, securities operations, banking operations, financial services, or a related environment.
· Strong understanding of the equity trade lifecycle, including trade support, confirmations, settlement, cash and position reconciliation, exception management, operational controls, and risk management.
· Experience leading work in a high-volume, deadline-driven, high-risk environment where accuracy, timeliness, judgment, and clear communication are critical.
· Experience or knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, related formulas, and accurate analysis of large datasets
· Experience developing or using operational reporting or dashboards in Power BI or a similar business intelligence tool to support analysis, risk monitoring, and decision-making.
· Exceptional attention to detail and a strong risk-aware mindset, with demonstrated ability to identify potential issues, control gaps, and process vulnerabilities proactively.
· Proven ability to analyze complex or ambiguous issues, create clarity, exercise sound judgment, and drive solutions across multiple stakeholder groups.
· Demonstrated success improving, standardizing, and documenting processes to reduce operational risk, strengthen controls, and improve scalability.
· Experience coaching and mentoring associates, coordinating team priorities, and reinforcing accountability for outcomes.
· Strong ownership mentality, including following work through to completion and escalating risks appropriately.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across global teams.
· Experience supporting equity trading operations within an asset management, investment management, brokerage, custody, or banking organization.
· Experience partnering with brokers, custodians, counterparties, and other external service providers across global markets.
· Experience with Power Automate, workflow automation, system testing, AI-enabled tools, or other technologies used to improve operational processes.
· Experience leading cross-functional projects or strategic initiatives focused on risk reduction, automation, operating-model effectiveness, and business growth.
· Experience working within a global operating model supporting multiple markets and time zones.

Charlotte Base Salary Range: $108,048-$172,877
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
