MGCTs Audio team provides the audio foundation for various high profile features like Spatial Audio, Siri, FaceTime, Audio for Games, media capture, playback and API’s for third party developers to enrich our platforms. The team is looking for talented engineers who are passionate about championing the performance and user experience of audio feature and products used by millions of customers.
The Audio DSP Software team is responsible for hosting Apple’s audio algorithms across iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS and visionOS. As a member of the Audio DSP Software team, you will help solve problems, help build out new features and capabilities, help productize and integrate our advanced audio algorithms, and provide developer-facing APIs for audio applications. You must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a knack for solving problems creatively. The fast-paced nature of the job requires that you be able to work well under pressure. We are seeking someone who is passionate about audio and is interested in improving the quality of audio experience for our customers and our developers
Experience in Swift or Objective-C
Experience in developing realtime or performance-critical applications
Experience in audio technologies
Extensive experience in modern C++
Knowledge in signal processing principles
Excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills
