We are looking for an experienced Coral & Hand Designer with a strong background in high-end jewellery design to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional hand sketching skills, deep expertise in coral jewellery design, and the ability to translate creative concepts into production-ready designs. This role requires close collaboration with the Director and Creative Head to conceptualize exclusive jewellery collections while ensuring the designs align with the brand's artistic vision, craftsmanship standards, and commercial objectives.

The successful candidate will also work closely with the CAD design team by explaining design concepts, providing technical guidance, and ensuring that every hand-drawn design is accurately translated into detailed CAD models suitable for manufacturing.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Director and Creative Head to conceptualize and develop unique high-end jewellery designs.
• Create detailed hand sketches and coral jewellery concepts that reflect luxury aesthetics, innovation, and craftsmanship.
• Develop original coral jewellery designs while maintaining attention to gemstone placement, proportions, wearability, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Interpret creative briefs and convert ideas into elegant, production-ready hand-drawn designs.
• Prepare design concepts with estimated budgets, considering materials, gemstones, coral quality, and production requirements.
• Explain design intent, dimensions, stone settings, and technical details to the CAD Designer for accurate digital modelling.
• Guide the CAD Designer throughout the design development process to ensure the original artistic vision is maintained.
• Review CAD outputs and recommend necessary modifications before final approval.
• Coordinate with production, merchandising, and sourcing teams regarding design feasibility and cost optimization.
• Ensure all designs meet quality standards, luxury market expectations, and customer requirements.
• Stay updated with international jewellery trends, coral artistry, luxury fashion, and evolving customer preferences.
• Maintain proper documentation of sketches, design revisions, specifications, and collection development.

• Experience working directly with creative leadership on exclusive collections
• Ability to estimate design budgets based on materials and manufacturing complexity
• Strong understanding of jewellery construction, gemstone settings, proportions, and production techniques
• Ability to effectively communicate design intent to CAD Designers
• Excellent visualization and creative thinking skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Jewellery Design, Accessory Design, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.
• 5–6 years of professional experience in luxury or high-end jewellery design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing hand sketches, coral jewellery creations, and premium jewellery collections.
• Experience working with luxury brands, bespoke jewellery houses, or fine jewellery manufacturers is highly preferred.
