Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, explain menu offerings, answer questions, and provide recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining service and presentation standards.
• Provide attentive service throughout the guest experience, including checking on satisfaction and responding to requests.
• Process cash, credit card, and other approved payments accurately.
• Maintain clean and organized service stations, tables, counters, and designated guest areas.
• Follow all food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
• Verify guest identification and comply with applicable laws and resort policies when serving alcoholic beverages.
• Communicate effectively with bartenders, kitchen staff, supervisors, and fellow team members to ensure timely service.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, restocking supplies, and preparing service areas for daily operations.
• Monitor guest areas and promptly report spills, hazards, damaged equipment, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a professional appearance and comply with resort uniform and grooming standards.
• Follow all Hawks Cay Resort and EOS Hospitality policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous food and beverage serving experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle payments accurately.
• Ability to learn and operate a POS system.
• Must be dependable, punctual, professional, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak water park operating hours.
• Must meet applicable minimum age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Must obtain and maintain any required food safety or alcohol service certifications in accordance with applicable laws and resort requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and direct sunlight.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull food service items and supplies as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to move safely through active guest areas and maintain awareness of water park activities.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including carrying trays, stocking supplies, and cleaning service areas.
