Copywriter – Conversion-Focused Marketing

Full-Time | Remote

Compensation: $1,300–$1,600 USD/month

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Conversion-Focused Copywriter to create persuasive, performance-driven copy across landing pages, email campaigns, paid ads, and marketing funnels.

This role is for someone who understands that great copy isn’t just creative — it drives clicks, leads, conversions, and revenue.

You’ll work across industries including healthcare, restaurants, fitness, e-commerce, and professional services, collaborating with marketing and design teams to continuously test and improve messaging.

What You’ll Do

Landing Pages & Funnels

• Write high-converting landing pages, sales pages, and lead-generation funnels
• Develop messaging across TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU stages
• Improve headlines, offers, CTAs, and conversion flows
• Collaborate with designers to align copy and visual execution

Email Marketing

• Write cold emails, nurture sequences, newsletters, and promotional campaigns
• Create lifecycle messaging for acquisition, retention, and re-engagement
• Optimize subject lines, hooks, CTAs, and email flows
• Adapt messaging for different audiences and segments

Paid Ads

• Write conversion-focused copy for Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and other paid channels
• Develop hooks, angles, headlines, and messaging variations
• Support ongoing creative and campaign testing
• Iterate copy based on performance data

Research & Optimization

• Conduct audience and competitor research
• Support SEO-aware website and landing page copy
• Analyze engagement and conversion performance
• Participate in A/B testing and CRO across headlines, CTAs, offers, and messaging

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of copywriting, direct-response, or conversion marketing experience
• Strong portfolio featuring landing pages, emails, ads, or funnel copy
• Experience writing for B2B and/or B2C audiences
• Strong understanding of direct-response and conversion copywriting
• Excellent written English
• Ability to adapt voice and messaging across industries
• Understanding of metrics such as CTR, CVR, open rates, and conversions
• Comfortable managing multiple projects in a remote environment

Nice to Have

• HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or GoHighLevel experience
• Paid advertising campaign experience
• SEO and search-intent knowledge
• A/B testing and CRO experience
• E-commerce/DTC, SaaS, healthcare, fitness, restaurant, or local-services experience
• UGC or VSL scriptwriting
• Experience using AI-assisted copywriting workflows

• Higher landing-page and funnel conversion rates
• Strong email engagement and click-through performance
• Better-performing ad hooks and messaging
• Consistent testing and improvement based on campaign data
• High-quality copy delivered accurately and on time
