About Us

We drive intelligent growth for ambitious businesses and leading brands.

Material clients make smarter growth choices because they can see clearly how and when to take the shots that count. Together, we connect consumer intelligence with customer demand generation to build lasting, profitable relationships.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a writer with strong instincts, good taste, and range.

Someone who can move between brand storytelling, campaigns, organic social, scripts, presentations, and longform with curiosity and confidence. A writer who understands that good creative work isn’t just clever, it’s useful, intentional, emotionally intelligent, and built to perform.

You should be equally excited by consumer brands and smart, distinctive B2B work that sounds human. You’ll work closely with creative directors, strategists, designers, account teams, and clients to develop ideas that are strategically grounded, culturally aware, and well-crafted from concept to execution.

Candidates should have native fluency in organic social: not just the platforms themselves, but the behaviors, references, creators, rhythms, and unwritten rules that shape them. You should understand what earns attention, what builds affinity, and how to create original, effective work in a landscape increasingly crowded by sameness and AI slop.

What Will You Do?

Creative & Strategic Thinking

  • Develop strong conceptual ideas across social, digital, video, print, and brand platforms

  • Translate insights and strategy into clear, compelling creative work

  • Help build and adapt brand voices with consistency, precision, and originality

  • Understand how writing supports broader brand and business goals

  • Contribute to presentations and creative discussions with thoughtful perspective

Writing & Craft

  • Write confidently across formats: campaigns, scripts, social, headlines, presentations, web, messaging, and longform

  • Understand pacing, structure, tone, and how language works alongside design, motion, and sound

  • Edit carefully and maintain strong standards for grammar, clarity, and detail

  • Bring equal energy to foundational work — outlines, messaging frameworks, UX copy — as to headline ideas

  • Develop instincts for when to push language and when simplicity is more effective

Social & Cultural Fluency

  • Strong understanding of the organic social landscape and evolving platform behaviors

  • Good instincts for what feels current, resonant, and worth paying attention to

  • Curiosity about language, culture, media, design, and emerging trends

  • Ability to create work that feels culturally aware without forcing relevance

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Collaborate effectively with creative directors, strategists, designers, account teams, and clients

  • Present work with clarity, confidence, and openness to feedback

  • Respond well to critique and contribute constructively to creative development

  • Build trust through reliability, accountability, and follow-through

  • Contribute positively to team culture and the quality of the work

Execution & Accountability

  • Manage more than one assignment while maintaining quality and attention to detail

  • Stay adaptable as priorities, feedback, and project needs evolve

  • Balance creative ambition with responsiveness and practicality

  • Deliver work that is polished, thoughtful, and on brief under tight timelines
