The Copy Specialist is a junior-level content role responsible for developing, adapting, and refining marketing copy across digital, email, web, social, presentation, and print channels. This role sits above a production-only copy position by bringing stronger writing ability, better editorial judgment, and closer day-to-day collaboration with creative and marketing partners, while still working within established messaging frameworks and senior creative guidance.
This role supports the execution of high-quality, brand-aligned content by writing and adapting short- to mid-form copy, editing existing materials, and helping ensure consistency across channels. The Copy Specialist is expected to use approved AI tools as part of the workflow to accelerate ideation, variationing, summarization, and productivity, while maintaining human oversight and strong attention to brand, accuracy, and compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in writing, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, along with 2+ years of experience in copywriting, content development, or marketing content creation roles.
Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and English grammar skills. Writing samples and a link to a professional profileportfolio are required
Experience developing marketing copy across digital, email, web, social, presentations, and print
Ability to adapt messaging across channels while maintainingbrand voice and consistency
Familiarity with messaging frameworks, style guides, and tone-of-voice standards
Experience collaborating closely with designers, marketers, project managers, and creative teams
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume content environments with multiple deadlines
Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT Enterprise) for ideation, copy variations, and workflow efficiency with human oversight
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Adobe Workfront.
Preferred: experience supporting enterprise/global marketing teams and SEO-aware or modular content development
Eager to learn and highly self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative, work independently with minimal guidance, and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Maintains a positive attitude and adapts well to shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
