EssentialResponsibilities:
Curriculum Copyediting: Execute copyediting for all content enhancements and new product development, correcting punctuation, grammar, style, consistency, and accuracy.
Fact-Checking& Verification: Review all names, places, and organizations for correct spelling while ensuring all facts, dates, and statistics areaccurate
Team Collaboration: Partner with fellow copyedit team members on designated subproject tasks to successfully meet project milestones and deliverables.
Peer Feedback: Exchange constructive feedback within the copyedit team to expand knowledge and apply best practicesregardingmethods, strategies, standards, and effectiveness.
Standards Compliance:Utilizedepartmental tools and guides to elevate curriculum composition quality andmaintainstrict adherence to style and formatting standards.
Process Improvement: Share insights and ideas tooptimizethe efficiency and effectiveness of the curriculum materials production copyedit phase.
General Scope: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s Degreein English, or a related field
One (1) year of experience as acopyeditor withresponsibilities fortechnicalformat &styleadherence
Working knowledge ofThe Chicago Manual of Style
Skilled in using Microsoft Office products and Google Docs and Sheets
Preferred:
Two (2) years of copyediting experience
ExperiencewithSmartsheetsor similar project management software
Salary range: $38,000 - $44,000 USD per year.
