Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced CoPilot AI Architect to design and implement Power Platform governance strategies across their organization. This role combines technical platform architecture with client-facing strategy to establish scalable, secure governance frameworks for enterprise AI adoption.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Design and execute Power Platform and Copilot governance frameworks, including environment strategy, security group configuration, connector governance, and DEV → UAT → PROD lifecycle management
• Provision and configure governed environments within the client tenant, including access provisioning, infrastructure assessment, and environment setup
• Lead client-facing strategy sessions with key stakeholders to define governance intent, requirements, and organizational objectives
• Diagnose core governance challenges and develop intake processes that translate business pain points into technical specifications and engineering scope
• Develop governance thesis documents and establish canary-question-as-business-requirement methodologies to validate governance approaches
• Mentor junior engineers on ambiguous problem definition, translating complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions
• Collaborate on security and compliance considerations aligned with organizational InfoSec policies and M365 standards

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in platform architecture, governance, or enterprise cloud infrastructure
• Deep expertise in Power Platform and Copilot governance frameworks
• Demonstrated experience with environment strategy and multi-environment lifecycle management (DEV/UAT/PROD)
• Strong knowledge of security groups, connector governance, and access control patterns
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture and strategic recommendations
• Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystems and information security best practices
• Excellent client-facing communication skills and ability to facilitate cross-functional stakeholder conversations
