OPAL-RT accomplit une partie importante de sa mission en offrant des produits de pointe, avec la contribution de sa division Electrical Engineering Expertise (3E), développant et fournissant des fonctionnalités adaptées aux différents axes techniques de ses clients, ainsi que des services spécialisés et des formations dans des domaines techniques innovants. La division 3E couvre différents marchés verticaux, notamment les systèmes d'alimentation et l'électronique de puissance, le transport électrique et les contrôles et protections intelligents.  

Sommaire du poste :

Le titulaire du poste supervise et coordonne les activités de production. Il est en charge de superviser les différents projets et de s’assurer respect des dates limites. Il s’assure également qu’il y ait une coordination entre les différents départements (finances, ventes).

Principales tâches :

  • Assumer les tâches standards du poste d’assembleur mécanique et électrique de l’équipe.
  • Former, conseiller et supporter les employés de l’atelier d’assemblage de câbles, harnais et boitiers de conditionnement.
  • Faire des inspections journalières sommaires.
  • Donner des comptes rendus sur l’avancement des travaux en production au chef d’équipe.
  • Travaille de concert avec l’agent méthode des opérations pour uniformiser les pratiques d’assemblage.
  • Identifier les opportunités d'amélioration, ainsi que planifier et assurer le suivi de leur réalisation.
  • Atteindre et maintenir les objectifs de qualité.
  • Maintenir le lieu travail sécuritaire, en ce qui a trait aux conditions et procédures de travail.

Exigences :

  • Scolarité : Diplôme d’études secondaires ou DEP en mécanique ou électromécanique ou l’équivalent;
  • Expérience : 3-5 ans minimum en assemblage de pièces mécaniques et électriques
  • Connaissances requises : Connaissances en électrique (mapping box) et en mécanique, maîtrise des outils d’assemblage (sertissage, fer à soudure, multimètre, perceuse, visseuse, etc.), Business Central, Jira, PowerBI;
  • Connaissances linguistiques : Français obligatoire. Une bonne connaissance de l'anglais est nécessaire pour la lecture de documentation technique non disponible en anglais.
  • Compétences recherchées : Bonne dextérité manuelle, rigueur et détermination, autonomie.

Position Summary

The incumbent coordinates and oversees production activities. He is responsible for overseeing various projects and ensuring that deadlines are met. They also ensure coordination between the different departments (finance, sales).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform the standard duties of a mechanical and electrical assembler within the team.
  • Train, advise, and support workshop employees in the assembly of cables, harnesses, and conditioning boxes.
  • Perform brief daily inspections.
  • Provide progress reports on production work to the team leader.
  • Work closely with the Operations Methods Agent to standardize assembly practices.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, as well as plan and monitor their implementation.
  • Achieve and maintain quality objectives.
  • Maintain a safe workplace with respect to working conditions and procedures.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or DEP in mechanics or electromechanics, or equivalent;
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical parts assembly;
  • Required Knowledge: Knowledge of electrical systems (box mapping) and mechanics; proficiency with assembly tools (crimping tools, soldering iron, multimeter, drill, screwdriver, etc.); Business Central, Jira, Power BI;
  • Language Skills: French is mandatory. A good knowledge of English is required to read technical documentation not available in French.
  • Desired Skills: Good manual dexterity, rigor and determination, and ability to work independently.
