The Coordinator for Student Access and Success reports to and supports the Director of Operations for Student Access and Success and provides administrative, fiscal, event planning, and operational support for initiatives and activities within the Office of Student Access and Success. The coordinator serves as a primary resource for departmental business operations, including travel coordination, invoice processing, contract administration, event planning, meeting logistics, and procurement activities.
The Coordinator assists with the planning and execution of statewide and system-level meetings, conferences, student success initiatives, workforce development activities. The coordinator collaborates with internal staff, institutions, vendors, and external partners to ensure successful implementation of programs and events supporting TBR strategic priorities. The coordinator also provides administrative and operational support for activities associated with Perkins V, including meetings, training events, reporting support, and communications with Tennessee colleges.

This position may have the opportunity to work remote within the state of Tennessee but with periodic visits to the TBR System Office (Nashville, TN) at the employee’s expense, and potential travel to Tennessee TBR colleges may be necessary.
Job Duties
Minimum Qualifications
• Associate degree from an accredited institution
• Three years of administrative, program coordination, event planning, or related experience
• Experience coordinating meetings, events, travel, contracts, or fiscal processes
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's preferred
• Higher education experience
• SkillsUSA experience
• Experience with Perkins-funded activities
• Event and conference planning experience
