The Senior Cost Coordinator is a fully independent cost control professional responsible for end-to-end cost management of major projects. This position works under the direction of the department manager and provides functional and management support for cost control activities on capital growth, field engineering, and asset integrity projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provides analytical insight and supports project leadership in decision-making.
Provide executive-level reporting and cost coordination on large capital program projects.
Function as a liaison for the project management team between departments such as Accounting, IT, Tax, Procurement & Contracts, Legal and external auditors, contractors and vendors.
Review project invoices and ensure proper coding to the planned budget expenditure types.
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree is required. An Engineering, Construction Science, Accounting degree is preferred.
