About the role

As a Coordinator - Sales at Orica India, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth across the quarry and construction sectors. You’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships within your territory (Southern Part of India). Your expertise will help customers overcome operational challenges by delivering tailored blasting and seismic solutions specific to quarrying and construction environments.

What you will be doing

  • Develop new business opportunities and expand existing accounts within the quarry and construction sectors in the Southern Indian states.
  • Execute territory-specific sales plans, monitor performance, and provide regular reporting.
  • Support contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and renewals aligned with customer needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to accurately forecast demand and deliver tailored blasting and seismic solutions.
  • Provide technical consultation to improve safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in operations.
  • Introduce innovative systems and services that add measurable value to quarry and construction clients.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering (mandatory).
  • 5–7 years in sales operations or after-sales support in mining, heavy equipment, or construction industries.
  • Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a large territory.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for customer success.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Southern India.
  • Knowledge of local languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, or Malayalam) is an advantage.
