
Part-Time, approximately 25 hours per week
The Coordinator, Program Partnerships & Special Events expands access to dynamic, high-quality Girl Scout experiences by developing and managing impactful vendor partnerships, large-scale programs, and signature council events. The Coordinator builds and nurtures relationships with community organizations, businesses, and subject matter experts to deliver engaging opportunities that align with the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) and meet the evolving interests of girls across the council.
From coordinating vendor-led activities to implementing special events and travel programs, the Coordinator ensures every girl has the opportunity to explore, grow, and lead. Through collaborative planning, volunteer support, and data-informed decision-making, this role strengthens the breadth and quality of council-sponsored programming.
Major Accountabilities:
Requirements
° Bachelor’s degree in related field or experience commensurate with degree
° Record of successful program implementation/delivery or appropriate related experience
° Advanced Microsoft Office Suite computer skills
° Strong human relations skills such as leadership, networking and relationship building
° Ability to prioritize the strategic plan of the council and execute into tangible actions
° Demonstrated ability to successfully handle conflict resolution at all levels with a variety of people, including external customers
° Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain confidentiality.
° Ability to communicate the written and spoken word with tact, diplomacy, and/or authority when necessary
° Well disciplined, able to meet deadlines, self-starter, team builder
° Able to work under pressure of many priorities and deadlines
° Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and access
° Knowledge of the Girl Scout program preferred
