Calvary Chapel High School and Middle School are looking for a Coordinator of Student Supervision, who is passionate about student safety and willing to support the School, including our social media.

Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa (CCCM) is a Christ-centered ministry, led by the Holy Spirit. The ministry began with the church located in Costa Mesa, CA and has flourished and expanded into a multifaceted ministry which includes Christian Schools, Christian Conference Centers, a Bible College, a School of Worship, Christian Radio Stations, Christian radio programs, Christian book distribution, and Christian bookstores.

Calvary Chapel Schools was established to meet the educational, social, and spiritual needs of the children of Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa, pastored by Pastor Char Brodersen. CCS is a ministry of CCCM, building up Christian leaders in mind, body, and soul through Biblical truth, character development, and strong academic pursuits, enabling students to serve and enjoy Christ and their community.



The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for student development—physically, socially, and emotionally—while contributing to a culture of excellence, safety, and care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. They will be a minister of the Gospel in this position by praying with and for the staff, serving the staff within the practical aspect of this position.

Supervision Coordinator (Middle School & High School)

The Supervision Coordinator ensures student safety and promotes a positive, engaging culture during non-instructional time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agrees with and live out the vision and values of CCCM as outlined in the Statement of Faith ( www.cccm.com)
  • Is an example to those who you come in contact and serve with by exuding the love of Christ.
  • Understands that it is a privilege to serve the Lord in vocational ministry and that those who serve God on staff at CCCM are expected to embrace a high biblical, Christ-like standard of conduct and lifestyle, both public and personal
  • Coordinate and manage staff supervision schedules (breaks, lunch, transitions, and after school)
  • Communicate supervision expectations clearly to teachers and staff
  • Communicate conduct concerns to the administration in a timely manner
  • Maintain clear communication with the Campus Safety team and support during drop-off and pick-up times.
  • Ensure daily coverage and make adjustments as needed for absences or special events.
  • Be present and engaged during break and lunch, modeling relational presence with students.
  • Collaborate with administration to evaluate and refine supervision zones and protocols
  • Foster a positive campus culture by coordinating engaging break and lunch activities, such as playing music, organizing intramurals, planning special events, and ensuring access to sports and recreation equipment
  • Support student connection and morale through creative, inclusive activities that promote community and fun
  • Oversee inclement weather plans, including setting up the gym for indoor activities and communicating necessary adjustments to staff
