2026-07-06The Coordinator of Student Engagement supports a comprehensive student engagement experience through student organizations, leadership development, community service, and orientation programming. This role advances student success by integrating co-curricular involvement with academic pathways, retention strategies, and career outcomes to prepare students for post-graduate success.
Essential Duties
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree required upon appointment; experience in event programming/coordination, and/or community service programming/coordination, and/or orientation programming/coordination.
Consideration may be given to:
Master’s degree; higher education administration, college student personnel, or related field. Experience applying student development theory or best practices to program design and student support. Demonstrated ability to foster student learning, growth, and engagement through co-curricular experiences. Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with students and campus and community stakeholders. Experience with program assessment and using data to inform decision-making. Familiarity with marketing and project management tools (e.g., Campus Groups, Emma, Canvas, Canva, SLATE, google suite).
