The Opportunity:

As the Coordinator Mobile Assets, you will serve as the central point of operational governance for Gold Fields Australia’s mobile fleet.

Reporting to the Superintendent Mobile Assets, you are responsible for the end-to-end administration and compliance coordination of our enterprise-wide fleet.

You will ensure that asset records, regulatory obligations, and fleet movements are managed with precision, providing the business with the visibility and control required to meet all financial and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage registrations, insurances and legislated inspections for light vehicles and buses, ensuring full compliance and audit readiness.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end asset transfers, ownership changes and location updates, ensuring system records accurately reflect physical movements.
  • Manage the central mobile asset hire inbox, coordinating approvals and allocations to meet operational demand.
  • Maintain accurate mobile asset records and interface with Finance and Procurement to ensure alignment with financial reporting and the Fixed Asset Register.
  • Proactively manage compliance calendars and renewals, support audits and act as a key contact for sites and vendors to resolve fleet‑related compliance gaps.

What You’ll Bring

  • A recognised trade qualification or relevant technical/tertiary studies.
  • Proven experience in asset administration or fleet coordination, with prior exposure as a technician, planner or supervisor highly regarded.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (ideally SAP), asset registers, maintenance data structures, and vehicle registration/insurance compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with reliability and condition monitoring concepts, combined with strong commitment to safe work practices in daily planning and administration.
