Job Description

The Material Scheduler will coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within and between departments according to production schedules. He/she will be handling suppliers from all over the world; following and monitoring deliveries of material.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The Material Scheduler will coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within and between departments according to production schedules.
  • He/she will be handling suppliers from all over the world; following and monitoring deliveries of material.
  • The duties include the reviewing and distributing of production, work, and shipment schedules.
  • Responsible to coordinate the function in an effort to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Whilst striving to maximise production efficiency, he/she will concentrate on applying innovative lasting solutions to deliver a step change in enterprise resource planning.
  • The Material Scheduler will also be responsible for the monitoring of inventory as per our Company goals.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Familiarity with the development, use and implementation of planning and forecasting information systems.
  • Experience in material planning, production planning, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain. Good knowledge of ERP/MRP system, Supplier-management abilities.
  • An excellent understanding of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts.
  • The ability to communicate supply chain objectives and convey the benefits to the organisation.
  • A strong customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
