Job DetailsJob Location: ARCH - Williamsport, PA 17701Position Type: 5 ADMIN SUPPORT WORKERSEducation Level: High School or GEDJob Shift: Full TimeUnder the supervision of the Marketing Manager, this position provides coordination, plans, and support for marketing events to include trade shows, sales meetings, promotional activities, and publisher co-op advertising opportunities critical to the overall effectiveness of the marketing strategy and ongoing sales of Brodart products and services.
Plan and coordinate efforts to implement an effective trade show and event strategy for the promotion of Brodart products and services to all segments of Brodart's market for its products and services to include selection of venues, scheduling, logistics, and follow up.
Support the planning and coordination of Annual Sales meetings and other internal events as necessary.
Assist the marketing team with the planning and coordination of other promotional activities as needed.
Oversee, lead and direct hired tradeshow service labor.
Responsible for all packing, shipping and coordination of trade show properties, materials and other event requirements.
Communicate, plan, and coordinate co-op advertising opportunities with publishing partners and internal departments and responsible for conveying recommended advertising placements, banner ad details, and invoicing.
Manage project specs/deliverables/timelines in Basecamp.
Manage all invoicing, filling purchase requisitions, coding of invoicing and submitting for payment.
Set up shows in iCapture (lead retrieval system).
Qualifications
One to three years of experience in trade show or event management activities and shipping and logistics experience is required.
Associates degree in liberal arts, communications or other marketing discipline preferred.
High organization and communication skills with strong problem-solving mentality.
PC Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Sharepoint, Internet and other marketing driven programs.
Ability to interact and communicate with a variety of people, divisional representatives and trade show related partner.
Encourages collaboration among members of the marketing team and other departments.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritizing as needed to meet deadlines.
Office environment.
Must be able to lift 5-60 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
Due to event schedules and responsibilities, the expectation is that normal work hours will exceed core hour schedule.
