Coordinator - Integrated Medical ServicesLocation: Karachi, PakistanIntroduction:The Aga Khan University Hospital in addition to its five Hospitals creates access through its Outreach Services which include Clinical Laboratories, Outpatient Medical Centres, Pharmacy services, Home Health and other services. Outreach Services are designed to provide primary to secondary healthcare services to patients near their homes and are present in several cities across Pakistan. Outpatient Medical Centres offer a range of specialty clinics including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Cardiopulmonary, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Pediatrics and Physiotherapy, and cater to children, adults, and elderly patients for general health checks or specific disease consultations.As an equal opportunity employer, AKU believes in promoting a diverse and inclusive culture and is committed to adopt appropriate standards for safeguarding and promoting a respectful relationship with and between diverse workforce of its faculty, staff, trainees, volunteers, beneficiaries, wider communities, and other stakeholders with whom it works, including children and vulnerable adults and expects all employees/trainees and partners to share this commitment.Responsibilities:You will be responsible to:Develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve volume and revenue targets for assigned Medical Centres (MCs)Plan and conduct promotional activities, including health events, medical camps, and open-house clinics in corporate and community settingsCoordinate with internal stakeholders (physicians, nursing, pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, and support services) to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of MCsEnsure service continuity during emergencies in coordination with managers, safety & security, and other relevant departmentsSupervise and support financial processes, including cash handling, petty cash management, and compliance with financial policies provided by the Finance DepartmentMonitor day-to-day financial activities and perform random checks (e.g., cash handling, inventory control) to ensure compliance with internal controls.Prepare and maintain staff duty, rosters and monthly overtime reports for assigned MCsMonitor and evaluate staff performance across all roles within the MCsEnsure 100%o credentialing and documentation of doctors practicing at the MCs.Maintain the facility's standards through regular rounds and coordination of housekeeping needsRaise material stock and purchase requisitions monthlyManage inventory of medical, surgical, and consumable supplies to prevent shortagesCollaborate with safety and security teams to conduct environmental rounds, enforce safety protocols, arrange safety trainings, and ensure timely reportingParticipate in Quality Improvement (QI) forums and support the implementation of approved action plans
Requirements:Strong understanding of marketing strategies and promotional techniques.Proven ability to coordinate teams effectively with strong leadership and supervisory skills.Proficient in verbal and written communication in both English and Urdu. Skilled in problem-solving and handling operational challenges proactivelyCapable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentComposed and tactful under pressure, especially in high-stress situations.Familiarity with OPMS and outpatient-related systems is an advantageWillingness to work beyond regular hours and on public holidays when requiredComprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
