The position performs and supports the order processing, barge scheduling, shipping, and customer service functions at the plant and terminals. The position works with numerous systems, documents, records and other groups to: plan and schedule barge movements; receive product orders; communicate order information; input and maintain shipping data and records; monitor for shipping equipment availability and fulfill maintenance requirements; complete order processing transactions; generate inventories and related production information for various products at terminals; create batches and input product analysis for Certificate of Analysis at terminals. P erform the primary thinking encompassed by this job description. Comply with all Company policies and procedures. Fully support Company goals of continuous improvement and operational excellence at strategic and tactical levels including reviewing area of responsibility for improvement opportunities to initiate projects or communicate ideas to management as well as active participation on project teams
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Degree, Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree. Experience in planning and scheduling preferred.
Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word and Excel) and the ability to develop a high level of proficiency in other computer systems.
The ability to work with very little supervision, problem solving, organization and prioritizing skills, respond to multiple questions and request for information and effective communications and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment, including cross-functional teams.
