What is the Opportunity?

Reporting to the Sr. Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Coordinator will provide HR support with day‑to‑day activities across the Industrial Sector. This role focuses on process management, accurate tracking, and coordination of HR programs and initiatives. As a primary point of contact for assigned business unit(s), the Human Resources Coordinator will organize, prioritize, and complete a wide variety of administrative and coordination activities to ensure consistent and efficient HR service delivery. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills are essential, as the role requires advising, troubleshooting, and interacting effectively across multiple levels and functions within the organization.

What You’ll Do Here:

• Provide support on day-to-day HR tasks, programs and initiatives, including talent management and employee relations.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and leaders regarding HR policies, procedures, and general inquiries.
• Complete ad hoc reports to ensure data integrity in the system and maintain workforce planning tracker
• Prepare and maintain documents and templates such as internal offers of employment, project assignment letters, and employment changes.
• Support managers with organizational announcements and supporting the estimating team with proposal data requests.
• Prepare and support compensation analysis related to workforce changes, ensuring data accuracy and internal equity. Respond to and resolve employee questions, escalating matters to the Manager as appropriate, maintaining a strong focus on creating a positive employee experience.
• Support the leave of absence process by addressing all employee questions and coordinating with internal stakeholders (i.e. pension, benefits, payroll).
• Support the daily direction of the HR Administrator, while providing mentorship and guidance
• Assist with auditing and admin related tasks with a focus on data integrity, accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain the internal HR SharePoint and organization of files for easy access, efficiency, and audit purposes.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Post‑secondary education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• CHRP designation or working toward it is considered an asset.
• Three to five (3–5) years of progressive experience in HR coordination or a related HR support function.
• Experience supporting unionized workforce is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR procedures, employment standards, and HR best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
• High attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Critical thinking skills to solve problems and make routine recommendations. Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors is an asset.

The expected salary range for this opportunity is $65,000-$70,000
