We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Health & Wellness team, within our Operations Division on a casual basis as a Coordinator – Health & Wellness.

Reporting to the Manager – Health & Wellness and working closely with operational personnel in head office and regional areas this role is responsible for reviewing and processing CBH medicals and associated workplace health and safety tasks for the seasonal casual harvest workforce.

Two face to face training days will take place in June/July including a regional site familiarisation trip. Casual shifts begin in mid-to-late June and continue through until late September or early October subject to workload demands and your availability.

We provide flexible work options including the ability to work remotely and/or from the CBH Perth office. Face to face meetings will be required in the office from time to time.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate harvest onboarding from a health and safety perspective, including technical support of fitness for work requirements;
  • Conduct desktop reviews of fitness for work medicals, liaising with harvest candidates, operational leaders, the HR team, and external medical providers
  • Oversee the harvest medicals and health and wellness email inboxes, including the timely processing of medicals and other occupational health-related tasks, and engaging the wider HSE team for support on other matters;
  • Provide help and advice in response to HSE queries and escalate when necessary; and
  • Assist in upskilling and coaching stakeholders on health-related processes and outcomes.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in health or a related discipline (students in later stages of a tertiary qualification considered)
  • High level of general health literacy, complementing your area of expertise
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in a health-related discipline
  • Strong computer literacy skills
  • Organised, thorough and detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in workplace health and safety is advantageous
