About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated HSW Coordinator to join our team and support the delivery of Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Environmental initiatives across our ANZ operations.

Based in Melbourne, in a hybrid working environment, this role is ideal for a proactive professional who is passionate about creating a strong safety culture, driving compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement within a collaborative and fast-paced professional services environment.

As the Coordinator, Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW), you will play a key role in supporting the implementation and ongoing improvement of Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Environmental business processes through the Business Management System (BMS) and associated platforms across ANZ offices.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to support compliance, conduct assurance activities, manage fleet safety processes, and help foster a safety-first culture focused on operational excellence and continual improvement.

Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSW and environmental processes within the Business Management System (BMS) and related platforms
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to improve BMS processes and implementation across the business
  • Conduct internal audits, reporting, compliance monitoring, and assurance activities to support effective HSW and environmental management
  • Maintain and enhance the safety, compliance, and operational efficiency of the company vehicle fleet, including analysis and reporting of fleet performance data
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining HSE Management Systems to support high performance and continuous improvement
  • Prepare professional reports, documentation, and safety communications
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support a positive and proactive health, safety, and wellbeing culture across the organisation

About You

You will bring a strong understanding of HSW systems, excellent organisational capability, and the ability to build trusted relationships across a diverse business environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar Health, Safety & Wellbeing or HSE coordination role
  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (desirable)
  • Certificate in Understanding Management Systems (desirable)
  • Auditing Certificate (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) (desirable)
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining systems to support compliance and operational effectiveness
  • Understanding of project management and business management principles
  • Experience maintaining HSE Management Systems and supporting continual improvement initiatives
  • Strong ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality reports and documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills within multidisciplinary and culturally diverse environments
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative, and effectively prioritise tasks
  • Advanced computer literacy, including Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
