As a Coordinator for Invenergy’s Environmental Compliance and Strategy (ECS) team, you will support the ECS team’s work across project development, construction and operations throughout the United States. The ECS team is comprised of more than 45 subject matter experts in natural resource management, policy and permitting, federal lands, tribal management, and vegetation. It will be your responsibility to ensure the efficient functioning of the fast-paced ECS team, and to collaborate with other teams such as engineering, legal, and development on a day-to-day basis. You will be a valued member of the team, supporting the effective operations of the department.
This position will be on-site at Invenergy's office.
Responsibilities
Support the ECS team with data management, maintaining an organized and comprehensive file structure.
Assist in the function and operation of the team, including submittal of expense reports, development of purchase orders, processing of invoices, maintaining files, and other related tasks.
Act as a liaison between the ECS team and internal and external parties.
Provide administrative support by gathering, analyzing, and organizing information; synthesizing key findings; and conducting thorough document reviews for accuracy and completeness.
Facilitate the contracting of services, providing oversight of ECS, in-house legal team, and external parties to develop, review and execute contracts.
Coordinate and manage team meetings by developing the agenda and facilitating, which includes taking notes and tracking outcomes and next steps.
Manage inquiries about ECS program activities and assist in the development of program materials and correspondence.
Directly support the ECS team with meeting scheduling and logistics, booking travel, and coordinating catering for in-office and off-site events.
Stay informed on and evaluate emerging tools and digital workflows to improve collaboration and operational effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in administrative and general office support
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Strong time management skills. Ability to prioritize assignments, multi-task, and re-prioritize as necessary
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Solution-oriented
Professional, able to maintain confidential information
Excellent team player
High school diploma or equivalent
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced course work
Advanced technical skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Oracle and DocuSign a plus
GIS capabilities
Experience or interest in energy industry and environmental issues
Proficient in identifying innovative technologies to improve efficiency and consistency
Base Pay
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
