Due to continuous growth, CommScope is looking to hire a Coordinator, EHS to be based at our site in Goa, India This role will be responsible EHS Shift surveillance for operations and projects, contractor safety management, safety induction training and preliminary investigation of near misses and incidents.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

• Inspect and monitor project site activities and ensure compliance with Work Permit System.
• Provide training for workers and visitors on various EHS topics including safety induction.
• Reporting and investigation of near miss and incidents. Compliance of Corrective and Preventive Action.
• Train employees on use of Entropy software for reporting EHS related information.
• Update & maintain EHS reports, tasks & regulatory compliance in Entropy software.
• Coordinate EHS Inspections, Audits, Meetings, Trainings, etc. and suggest ideas for improvement.
• Coordinate EHS Employee Engagement, Promotional Activities, Health & Wellness programs.
• Conduct & circulate weekly Safety Toolbox Talks.
• Provide administrative support during statutory, certification, customer, corporate or any third-party audits.
• Upkeep of work area to improve 5S standards.
• The role will involve working in rotational shifts

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Technology OR Degree in Physics or Chemistry with minimum 2 years of experience of working in a factory

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

• Completed or willing to complete Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety.
• Working knowledge of statutory requirements with regards to Inspectorate of Factories & Pollution Control Board.
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
• Understanding of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment.
• Qualities of a good trainer.
• Competency to handle emergencies occurring inside the factory.
• Experience in working with software applications such as Entropy, MS Office, BC in the cloud, Everbridge, Humantech, ENHESA & Power BI.
