The Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Coordinator (Undergraduate) in the Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Job Role / Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
assist UG Year IV MBBS program director, coordinator in internal and external review, OSCEs, arranging teaching sessions.
organize all Departmental undergraduate teaching programs and coordinate with other Departments for their support
maintain students evaluation for each rotation.
assist in organizing OSCE, combined retreat, honor viva, sessions preparation on VLE and modify courses
prepare drafts of memos, letters, presentations, education material, and reports on routine and ad hoc activities of the department
arrange logistics for academic activities, CMEs, keeping records and attendance
communicate messages promptly and accurately to the faculty, supervisor, and others to help in the maintenance of smooth functioning of the department
participate and facilitate JCIA, and quality-related activities
arrange travel plans and compile all documents for travel
assist in coordinating special projects and events assigned by the supervisor
answer incoming and outgoing phone calls, communicate the same to concerned staff, and take actions as instructed
coordinate with support services departments including HR, Finance, Purchase, warehouse, Facilities Management Department, etc. for any related issues and assignments.
assist in coordinating monthly academic and on call rota, off-campus, and on-campus
assist in any other task assigned by the Chair/Program Director/Assistant Manager/Senior Manager
assist in preparing recommendation letters and summary for patients
Eligibility Criteria /Requirements:
You should have:
a Graduate degree; Masters is preferred with at least 2-3 years of related experience
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
excellent organizational skills and discretion with confidential information
good knowledge of computers particularly of MS Office package
ability to handle multiple tasks independently and perform under pressure.
