About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

Our Strategy, Engagement & Prevention Group plays a critical role in shaping how we deliver on ACC's vision. We're now looking for a Coordinator to join our DCE Office team based in Wellington. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong coordination or Personal Assistant experience who enjoys supporting senior leaders and helping them stay focused on strategic priorities and business outcomes.

In this role, you’ll provide high-quality support to senior leaders, helping them stay organised, informed, and connected. You’ll manage diaries and inboxes, coordinate meetings and logistics, and ensure documents and communications are delivered to a high standard.

This is a secondment opportunity until July 2027, based in Wellington, within the Strategy, Engagement & Prevention Group. While we support flexible working where possible, this role requires a regular in-office presence due to the close support provided to the DCE Office and Group Leadership (minimum 3 days in the office).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Personal assistance and admin support including diary/email management and acting as first point of contact.
  • Shared inbox management and task triage.
  • Hands-on logistical support for meetings and activities across the Business Group.
  • Supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Providing consistent, quality support to senior leaders.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Preparing reports, documents, and presentations to a high standard.
  • Using ACC systems and processes to deliver effective support.

About you | Mōu

We value potential and growth over perfection. If you meet most of the criteria and are excited about making a difference, we encourage you to apply if you:

  • Bring experience in coordination, administration, executive support, or personal assistance within a large organisation or government environment.
  • Are confident supporting multiple senior leaders with day-to-day admin.
  • Think ahead and anticipate needs before they arise.
  • Build strong relationships and communicate clearly.
  • Are organised, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Share our commitment to well-being, inclusion, and service excellence.
  • Bring energy, initiative, and a willingness to pitch in where needed.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively and contributing positively to a supportive team environment.
