Coordinator Cyber Security Global Functions

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Coordinator Cyber Security Global Functions to lead the cyber security for global functions activities and technical capabilities, driving strategic and operational cybersecurity initiatives that align with different functions objectives and global standards. This role will drive the adoption and implementation of cutting-edge security solutions, ensuring alignment with industry’s best practices and regulatory requirements.

Your day-to-day will involve close collaboration with different global function leaders, especially in GSIS, Group IT and ISC cross domains, as well as other security experts in the IT team, embedding security in the different global functions.

Beyond the technical scope, the Business engagement team will work to foster strong relationships with executive stakeholders and leaders, acting as trusted advisors and strategic partners. You’ll also lead talent development within the security team, nurturing future leaders, and ensuring succession planning is in place.

Ultimately, your leadership will enhance both financial and operational performance, making security an enabling function, not just a safeguard—but a competitive advantage.

Your role:

  • Build close and strategic engagement with global function leaders'  to understand their needs and translate them into effective cybersecurity solutions and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Define and drive the cybersecurity solution roadmap, based on market and functions priorities, regulatory requirements and aligning with enterprise architecture.
  • Be an integral part of the ISO and RSO team to be the primary liaison between security and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and mutual understanding of goals and constraints.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and trust, building strong relationships across technical and non-technical teams to promote security as a business enabler.
  • Mentor and develop high-performing teams, promoting continuous learning, ownership, and leadership across the cybersecurity organization.
  • Stay ahead of emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory trends, proactively adapting strategies and solutions to maintain resilience.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication, influence, and decision-making skills, especially in high-stakes or ambiguous environments.

You're the right fit if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of working experience.
  • 7+ years previous experience within information security domain.
  • 7+ years’ experience as a line manager, managing small teams, managing contracts, developing and adhering to budgets.
  • MBA or other advanced degree highly desired.
  • Pro-active, self-starter that can develop and execute plans and objectives.
  • Ability to resolve unique problems by collecting and interpreting information from multiple sources as needed to come to insightful solutions.
  • Collaborative attitude and ability to work in multi-disciplinary team across multiple time zones.
  • Comfortable working with and managing virtual teams.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards.
  • Technical Certifications in Information Security (e.g. CISM, CISSP, etc.) preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience working within a large multinational company deploying information security capabilities.
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR) and understanding of how Information Security needs to comply with those requirements.
  • Knowledge of the legal, industrial, and cultural security requirements for a large multinational industrial company.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and NIST2 framework.
  • Has experience managing the work of 3rd parties that have been contracted to deliver information security capabilities.
  • Desire to constantly learn, improve, and drive results.
  • Fluency in English (min C1 level).
  • Willingness to travel.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.​ Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.​
