The Customer Service Enrollment Coordinator supports administrative and enrollment data-related projects while providing high-quality, customer-focused service by guiding families through the enrollment process via our hotline, email, and in-person interactions. This role emphasizes clear communication, responsiveness and a supportive experience for all current and future DPS families.

What You'll Do:


  • Serve as a primary point of contact for families by responding to phone and email inquiries related to the SchoolChoice process and enrollment in Denver Public Schools
  • Assist families in navigating the online SchoolChoice application, ensuring clarity and ease throughout the process
  • Provide accurate and timely information on SchoolChoice procedures, key deadlines, school options, residency-based priorities, and transportation availability
  • Maintain accurate student records through data entry in systems such as Infinite Campus and SchoolChoice
  • Support Round 1 enrollment efforts by conducting outreach to transitioning students and families via phone, email, and in-person engagement at schools, offices, and community events
  • Assist walk-in families with enrollment questions and application support, delivering high-quality customer service
  • Participate in occasional evening and weekend events to support enrollment initiatives and community engagement
  • Provide administrative support and perform data clean-up tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency within Enrollment Services
  • Other duties assigned


What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • One (1+) plus years of Customer Service
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Google products, including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effectively handle multiple demands and competing deadlines
  • The ability to take responsibility for one’s own performance
  • Work collaboratively with others on a team
  • High degree of integrity in handling confidential information
  • Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
