Job Description

Department: FMG/UHC Registration

The Coordinator- Clinic Op will support the operations of the Specialty Clinics and Registration office. Will also work closely with accounting and other UHC departments as deemed necessary. Collaborates and assists with complex and sensitive/confidential administrative and department functions. Ability to coordinate meetings, agenda, and presentations as required.

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum two years. Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant MA Program.

Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of outpatient clinics front office and back office practices and policies, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) user preferred. Able to keyboard up to 40 wpm. Able to read: write legibly: speak in English with professional quality: use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position. Relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally and accept directions. Communicate effectively in English in person, in writing and on the telephone: think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload: work independently with minimal supervision.

Licensures and Certifications:Certificate of Medical Assistant (MA) Required. Safety Coordinator certificate (Loma Linda University Health) to be completed with in 90-days of hire. BLS Certificate (American Heart Association) required within 90-days of hire.
