
The purpose of this position is to support the work of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s (ASHA) Continuing Education (CE) Provider Approval and compliance programs. The primary responsibilities for this position include a) supporting the CE Provider approval and re-approval processes, (b) managing communications and documentation related to CE Provider compliance and (c) the maintenance and retention of CE Provider records.
The position reports to the Director, CE Standards & Compliance. The incumbent is expected to plan and carry out work activities in close collaboration with other CE team members. The incumbent is required to apply ASHA CE, Association, and National Office policies and procedures and methodology in a consistent, accurate, and timely manner. Broad latitude is given to determine approaches, procedures, and methodology to accomplish work responsibilities. Incumbent uses independent judgment to develop solutions and is given the authority to resolve issues and problems. Work receives administrative review from the Director or CE team members. Specific guidance and review by the coach may be required for special or unusual circumstances.
