Job Description

To ensure the timely and efficient collection of outstanding receivables by managing a high-value customer portfolio, minimizing bad debt risk, reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and supporting overall cash flow optimization through effective communication, root cause resolution of payment delays, and proactive and stakeholder collaboration.

  • Manage Overdue accounts along with complex and high-value accounts, ensuring timely collections in line with company targets.
  • Proactively follow up on overdue invoices via email and phone.
  • Analyze customer accounts and payment trends to identify and mitigate credit risk. Coordinate with sales, billing, and customer service teams to resolve disputes Escalate problematic accounts and recommend action plans
  • Track and report on collection KPIs such as DSO, aging, and promise-to-pay metrics. Document all collection activity accurately in the FSCM system.
  • Timely payment application
  • Graduate or postgraduate with good academic record
  • Good understanding of accounting standards
  • Exposure to SAP would be preferred, good excel skills
  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience, shipping industry would be preferred
