Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Duluth is currently seeking applicants for a Production Coordinator.

Job Location:

This position will be on-site at the Duluth, MN facility, near Airpark blvd and Haines Road.

Work hours: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM

Pay: $25/hr starting pay additional compensation may be added based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists production supervisors
  • Assists planning with scheduling of production jobs to meet customer requirements
  • Works closely with the supervisor and Material Handler in coordinating schedules
  • Monitors production job status to ensure on time delivery
  • Works closely with supervisor to ensure the areas have maintenance and engineering support as required to meet production demands
  • Monitor inventory levels on raw materials needed in production
  • Works closely with purchasing to ensure all items are available to meet production demands

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office applications and overall computer knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automated manufacturing or robotics equipment
  • Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and high degree of initiative to resolve issues

Education & Experience:

  • No education required, but preferred
  • Ability to meet Vishay’s attendance policy (2% absenteeism rate or less annually)
  • Ability to do repetitive tasks that require the use of various defined procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently while maintaining a good working relationship with co workers & supervisors
  • Manufacturing or systems experience preferred

  • Great hand dexterity
  • Ability to contribute to quality objectives
  • Provide products and services that exceed customer expectations
  • Obeys all work rules and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations as valid for the work tasks assigned
