Position Overview
Help keep Cooper Spur a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained mountain retreat! As a Caretaker, you’ll play an important role in protecting resort facilities, supporting guests, and ensuring a peaceful environment for team members and visitors. This year-round, part-time position offers the opportunity to work independently while helping maintain the comfort and security of our mountain community.
This role combines guest service, property inspections, and hands-on problem-solving. You’ll conduct nightly resort rounds, secure buildings and facilities, respond to guest calls and concerns, and help address emergencies or unexpected situations. You’ll also monitor resort property, document incidents, communicate with the leadership team, and help ensure resort rules and quiet hours are respected.
We’re looking for a dependable, resourceful, and level-headed individual with strong communication skills and sound judgment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, interacting with guests, and responding professionally to challenging situations—including evenings, weekends, holidays, and winter weather. If you take pride in creating a safe and positive environment and enjoy being a reliable presence at a mountain resort, we encourage you to apply!
