Job Description

Everforth ECS is seeking a COOP Planner and Coordination Lead - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of enterprise COOP plans and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Coordinate and conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to inform continuity planning.
  • Establish and validate Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
  • Integrate COOP planning with cybersecurity measures and change management processes.
  • Facilitate continuity exercises and validate restoration procedures to ensure mission readiness.
  • Provide comprehensive continuity readiness reports and advise government leadership on resilience strategies.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and hosting teams to align COOP strategies with operational needs.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to enhance operational resilience.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 411-Technical Support Specialist at the Advanced proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, FITSP-O, GICSP, SSCP
  • Education: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure and continuity planning within DoD or Federal environments.
  • Proven track record in leading COOP and disaster recovery coordination across complex infrastructures.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and coordinating continuity exercises.
  • Ability to integrate COOP planning with cybersecurity and infrastructure sustainment strategies.
