Cook / Dining Services Supervisor
Full-Time | Every Other WeekendElderwood at Cheektowaga
Bring your culinary experience and leadership skills to a role where both matter.
Elderwood at Cheektowaga is seeking a dependable, experienced Cook / Dining Services Supervisor to join our dietary team. This unique full-time opportunity combines hands-on food preparation with frontline leadership:
Work approximately two to three days each week as a Dining Services Supervisor
Work the remaining scheduled days as a Cook
Participate in an every-other-weekend rotation
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cook who is ready to take on greater responsibility while remaining actively involved in the kitchen.
As a Dining Services Supervisor, you will assist the Director of Dining Services with the daily operation of the department. You will help coordinate the team, maintain an organized kitchen, reinforce food-safety and sanitation practices, and ensure established recipes, procedures, and regulatory requirements are consistently followed.
As a Cook, you will prepare appealing, nourishing meals from established recipes and rotating menus. In skilled nursing, meals are more than part of the daily schedule—they provide comfort, familiarity, choice, and an important opportunity for residents to connect with others.
You will have the opportunity to grow as a leader without stepping away from the culinary work you enjoy. Your efforts will directly influence the quality of residents’ daily dining experiences while helping the department operate safely, efficiently, and consistently.
If you are an experienced cook who takes pride in your work, supports the people around you, and is ready for a blended culinary and supervisory role, we invite you to apply to Elderwood at Cheektowaga.
