We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Solihull Metropolitan to assist with the appointment of a Cook/Chef, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £16.95 - £20.63 per hour

Summary:

Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a qualified Cook/Chef to prepare and serve meals while maintaining high standards of food hygiene, safety and kitchen cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook and serve meals in accordance with menu requirements.
• Ensure food is prepared and stored safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the kitchen.
• Follow food safety and health and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• NVQ in Cookery/Catering or an equivalent cooking qualification

Essential Requirements:

• Ability to prepare and cook meals to the required standards.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Please note:

• You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
• You should have right to work in U.K
• This role requires an Enhanced DBS
