THE ROLE

We are looking forCooksto join our team at New Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, NY. As aCook, you will be responsible forproducing all assigned menu items in an efficient and consistent manner while following Legends’ specifications, recipes and technique andmaintainingsanitation standardsIf you are looking to be a part of the excitement and energy of live stadium events, this is your opportunity to join a fast-paced and team-oriented environment!

ESSENTIAL DUTES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

• FollowsExecutive Chef, SousChefsand/or Culinary Supervisors/Leads assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation.

• Prepares food items by complying with portion size, quality standards, departmental rules, policies and procedures.

• Maintains HACCP standards ensuring a high-quality level of food, food temperatures, rotation of product, cleanliness and sanitation standards.

• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen including walk-in coolers, dry storage, shelves, walls, floors and drains.

• Ensures all food preparation equipment is clean, sanitized, and kept in a safe and operable condition; report issues to lead or supervisor.

• Identifies and stores meats, poultry, seafood, pasta, starches, dairy products, and all other food items according to established standards.

• Participates as a team player with specific responsibilities as related to preparation, excellent service, and delivery of products.

• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age

• ServSafeAllergens and Food Handler, preferred or ability toattainthe required food safety certifications prior to working events

• Elevated time management, organizational, and prioritizing skills

• Ability to lift and transport food and other items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.

• Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays including all games and major stadium and catering events

• Practice safe work habits, follow all safetypolicies and proceduresand regulations, complete company-wide safetytrainingandadditionaljob specific safety training

COMPENSATION

Competitive salaryof $19-21hr.commensuratewith experience

• Constant standing, twisting, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.

• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

• Ability to lift/move/maneuver up to 50 lbs.
