Basic Function and Responsibility
To prepare, season, cook, and serve nutritional, well-balanced meals for juvenile residents.
Appointing Authority and Supervision Received
The deputy court administrator of family court is the appointing authority. The cook receives direct supervision by the cook supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications: (Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis, provided a high school diploma or GED has been obtained.)
High School graduate or equivalent plus one year of institutional/cafeteria cooking experience, such as in a school, hospital, or comparable training.
Necessary Special Requirement
Designated position is required to deliver meals by van. Employee in this designated position must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license from state of residence and provide proof of such. If driving non-court vehicle for court business, must possess and maintain state mandated auto liability insurance and properly licensed, reliable vehicle, and provide proof of such.
